Moses Boyd, the drummer, composer, producer at the forefront of London’s burgeoning jazz scene has released his second solo EP Absolute Zero on his own Exodus Records.
As well as forming a collection awards, Boyd has collaborated with the likes of Four Tet, Floating Points, Giles Peterson and many more. Dropping the four track EP on 4th August, Boyd toys with the boundaries of conventional jazz, weaving grime, dance and jungle into torrid synthesisers with his poly-rhythmic drumming. ‘Moses Boyd has helped revitalise jazz as an urgent new form of urban music, tearing the genre out of elite spaces’ – The Vinyl Factory.
