Jesse James Solomon reveals the gritty side of urban life with new single ‘City Lights’

Since coming out of the blocks in 2015 with debut EP JFSE, Jesse James Solomon has been lying low until late last year. Revealing the gritty side of urban life with his laid back urban lyricism Jesse returns with new single ‘City Lights’.

Championing a blasé flow, Jesse’s infectious rhythm taps into UK hip-hop from a refreshing perspective. After making an impression with the his recent Soundcloud releases of ‘Scumbag // Barriers’ and ‘GOAT TALK’, Jesse is back with a new single. Featuring on New York rapper Wiki’s debut album in late 2015 as well as Rejjie Snow’s debut EP Rejovich, Jesse is no stranger to the game and is currently supporting Rejjie on his UK and Ireland tour this year.

If you’re keen to find out whether these recent releases are a sign of more to come, follow Jesse on Soundcloud and Spotify to stay up to date. Listen to ‘City Lights’ and the JFSE EP below. Get tickets for Jesse’s next London show here.
